What Is A Cron Task?

A cron is a service that allows a user to automatically execute a script at a specific time.

Cron Tasks page is where to check your created tasks and to make any task run earlier than its scheduled date, this page is divided into three sections which are System Tasks, Other Tasks, and Instructions, let's explain each one:

System Tasks

System Tasks is the first section you'll see in this page, this is a table with five columns, let's explain each column:

• Task. Task name.
• Run. Task start run Date.
• Next. Task Next Running Date.
• Status. Task Status at this column like Scheduled status.
• Run Early Buttons. You'll see run early button besides each task, click on this button to make any task run earlier than it's scheduled.

Other Tasks

Other Tasks is the second section in this page, you'll see any other tasks than system tasks here is this section displayed in table with seven columns, let's explain each one of them:

• Id. Task ID number is unique for each task.
• Task. Task name .
• Run. Task start run Date .
• Next. The date when will be run next.
• Create. Task created date .
• Status. Task Status like Scheduled status mean this task run every specific time.
• Run Early Buttons. You'll see run early button besides each task, click on this button to make any task run earlier than it's scheduled.

Instructions Section

Instructions is the section in the bottom of this page, you'll find all the cron tasks instructions in this section, the files you have to run and example for Linux platform.
